The Project Manager works with the Writing Center Director to define and oversee the planning, implementation, and completion of various projects across our office, and in so doing helps us successfully complete mission-critical work.
📜 Position Summary
In collaboration with the Director, the Project Manager researches best practices in project management, including the use of project management software to plan and track specific projects. The Project Manager consults with other administrators and coordinators to help them plan and track projects, including working with them to define the tracking procedures that best align with their work styles and preferences.
✨ Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Work with Director to create project goals and define the scope of projects (30%)
- Define specific projects as quarterly, annual, and longer-term
Help define and oversee regular, ongoing processes and procedures (40%)

- work with stakeholders in these efforts to learn their preferences for tracking and implement procedures to align with stakeholder preferences
Work with teams and supervisors and administrators to help them manage projects (20%)

Notice inefficiencies and aspects of work where we could be more systematic in our operations and work to find solutions for them (5%)
